A few years ago, on the island of Mallorca, I visited a myrtle sanctuary, a very special place with a great deal of history. When I saw a germinated seed on the ground I could not resist picking it up, planting it in a little soil and bringing it back to Liébana. Today it is a full-grown shrub thriving in my garden. From its powerful berries I obtain a mother tincture that gives this product an antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial action.
So here is this formula, which aims, very much in the spirit of Esencias de Liébana, to offer you an everyday product with an effective, 100% natural formulation.
Even more important than using a toothbrush is interdental cleaning, which brushing often fails to achieve. I bought a water flosser some time ago and I can tell you it is a great tool, although for those of us with very close-set teeth, dental floss remains essential.
This mouthwash helps complete the cleaning of every cavity in the mouth, as well as helping to prevent infections, mouth ulcers, cold sores, fungal issues and other conditions. It also disinfects, soothes and reduces inflammation in the throat when we suffer upper respiratory complaints that, in most cases, bring mild but very uncomfortable symptoms (pharyngitis, laryngitis and tonsillitis).

- Handcrafted mother tincture of myrtle (fruit, sp. Myrtus communis).
- Handcrafted mother tincture of calendula (flower, sp. Calendula officinalis).
- Handcrafted mother tincture of St John’s wort (flower, sp. Hypericum perforatum).
- Handcrafted mother tincture of sage (flower and leaves, sp. Salvia officinalis).
- Handcrafted hydroalcoholic tincture of propolis and myrrh (gum resin, gen. Commiphora).
- Handcrafted mother tincture of oak galls.
- Organic coconut vegetable oil.
- Magnesium oil (natural, from the Mediterranean).
- Organic essential oils of sage (sp. Salvia officinalis), thyme (sp. Thymus vulgaris), mint (sp. Mentha piperita) and clove (sp. Eugenia caryophyllata).

- Pour 5 drops into a little water, then swish the dilution around your mouth for a few seconds and spit it out.
- To treat throat problems, pour 6-8 drops into a little water, gargle and spit the product out.
