Calendula Oil
The skin of a newborn is five times thinner than that of an adult. This makes it much more sensitive to external influences and more prone to losing heat and moisture, as the protective outer layer is still underdeveloped. For this reason, it is especially important not to overload such delicate and permeable skin with synthetic substances or artificial fragrances.
Calendula and Lavender are flowers traditionally associated with childhood due to the gentleness of their action and their soft, comforting scent. An oil created from the heart of a mother for the “heart” of her baby.
Apply as a massage oil or add a few drops to the bath.
Make-up Remover
This oil also works beautifully as a natural make-up remover. It gently removes make-up without irritating the skin, especially around the eye area. Finish by rinsing with warm water and drying the skin gently.
- Calendula oleomacerate in biodynamic olive oil and sunflower seed extract.
- Essential oils of Lavender and Santolina.
*Ingredients from certified organic agriculture or from trusted and environmentally respectful sources.
*All botanicals are hand-harvested in the Liébana Valley, following the biodynamic lunar calendar, with respect and gratitude.
- If you wish to use it as a natural perfume, apply it to the pulse points of the body — areas where blood circulation is closer to the skin and the temperature is slightly higher, allowing the fragrance to evaporate more slowly. Common pulse points include the upper neck, behind the ears, and the inner elbows and wrists. Other suitable areas are the ankles, hips, collarbones, and the back of the knees.
- It can also be used to nourish the skin after showering.
- In moments of tension or stress, I recommend applying it to the wrists, inhaling the aroma, and taking a few gentle breaths for a few minutes.
- Ideal for use on little ones as a gentle cleansing oil or as a massage oil.
