LIÉBANA Oil
It had been raining non-stop in Liébana for days. That late afternoon a splendid sun came out and tempted us to go for a walk. From home, in just a few steps, you begin to make your way into the woods. In those moments we were filled with fresh yet penetrating scents that invited us to breathe deeply. We came home with a broad smile…
That night I was still carrying the memory of those aromas that had made me feel so good. I got up and, inspired by what I had just lived, I made the perfumed oil I am presenting today. LIÉBANA Oil holds the true essences of my home.
The components of this oil help to tone the whole body: they stimulate the respiratory system (honeysuckle, pine, thyme), the digestive system (fennel, oregano), the circulatory system (honeysuckle, cedar, juniper) and the lymphatic system (juniper).
They also have a positive effect on our emotions. That is why, when we walk and step into nature and breathe in the essences of the plants around us, we benefit from their effects. We cleanse the heart of negative, self-destructive feelings; we clear the mind when we are in a state of emotional confusion; we overcome the feeling of emptiness and loneliness (honeysuckle) and we calm down when our mood is anxious and worried. The essences of the forest help us accept ourselves and become aware of how much we need to be kind to ourselves, instead of dwelling only on what we get wrong. We recover our strength and our motivation.
50 mL glass bottle.
- Oil macerate of honeysuckle and thyme in biodynamic olive oil and sunflower seed juice.
- Handcrafted mother tincture of wild bilberry, birch, ash and oak moss.
- Essential oils of pine, thyme, juniper, cedar, fennel and oregano.
*Ingredients from certified organic farming, or uncertified but from known sources that respect our environment. *All the botanicals have been gathered by hand in the Liébana Valley, with respect and gratitude, following the biodynamic lunar calendar.
- If you want to use it as a perfume, apply it to the pulse points of the body: the places where the blood flows closest to the skin, so the temperature is higher and the fragrance evaporates more slowly. Which are they? The most usual ones are the top of the nape, behind the ears and the inner elbows and wrists, but the ankles, hips, collarbones and the backs of the knees are also good places to apply perfume.
- It can also be used to nourish the skin after showering.
- In moments of tension or stress, I recommend applying it to the wrists, breathing in its scent and taking a few gentle breaths for a couple of minutes.
