Perfumed oil to nourish or cleanse the skin.

To introduce this product, I would like to borrow the wise words of Eva Villar (www.evavillarbeauty.com), a woman who has supported Esencias de Liébana and who knows how to care for natural beauty with the utmost respect. “Our wonderful skin is the largest organ in the body. Among many other functions, it protects us from external aggressions and keeps our body at the right temperature. Our skin is also known as “the third lung”.
The hydrolipidic mantle of our skin is covered by a layer of microorganisms. A kind of natural emulsion made of sweat, water, oil, dead cells and so on keeps our skin healthy, strong and protected. And yet, with soap, we insist on stripping that protection away again and again.
Overusing soap causes a great many problems, among them the well-known atopic skin that so many people, children included, suffer from, often triggered and worsened by the constant use of soaps.

Our skin is soft by itself: that hydrolipidic mantle is what keeps it soft. It is when the mantle disappears, through constant soaping, that skin feels rough, dehydrated and exposed to any infection.
How many of you get home with dirty skin? How many of you work in a mine or on a building site in a swimsuit? Do you crawl across the office floor naked, or go down the street on all fours? Do we really need to lather ourselves every single day as if there were no tomorrow?
Soap is designed to dissolve grease and remove dirt. Fine: soap can be used on hands, on feet (if we walk barefoot), on the knees of a baby crawling naked… but what do we do about the rest?”

Chemically, a substance dissolves in another substance of the same nature. Following that principle, it is easy to understand that any dirt on our skin, naturally covered by an oily mantle, can be removed with oil. And if that oil is a good one, the cleansing itself becomes a benefit for the skin.
This oil can be used to cleanse the whole body, intimate areas included. You will notice a real change in the texture of your skin, you will save a lot on creams and you will avoid many skin problems.

There is a new way of looking at respectful body cleansing, and with this product I want to join it, offering this formulation made with plants I gather in Liébana and ingredients with organic certification.

  1. Either by giving yourself a simple massage before stepping into the shower, letting the warm water rinse away any excess the skin has not absorbed, or inside the shower on damp skin, creating an emulsion. You can also use it for massage or as a nourishing oil after showering.
  2. You can apply the oil to the underarms and wipe it off with a tissue or a damp towel if you have been sweating heavily.

The intimate area, in both men and women, will be pleasantly cared for and cleansed by this oil, which also contains essential oils that prevent the pathogenic microorganisms living in these areas, such as Candida albicans, from proliferating and taking hold.
