The formulation of this preparation is full of symbolism, and the result reaches deep into both the skin and the senses.
The calendula flower (a plant that symbolises the sun) represents the gold that was given to kings. Frankincense (the resin of the tree Boswellia carteri) was the gift offered to the gods, and myrrh (the resin of the tree Commiphora myrrha) is the substance that represents human nature and was one of the main substances used to embalm bodies.
Iris root tincture, whose flower, the lily (number 3), represents balance.
Calendula is the flower par excellence for the skin: all its components form an unrivalled synergy that heals and is antiseptic, helps to cure wounds and also stimulates the production of collagen (essential for the skin to recover). It has emollient, soothing and softening properties. It is anti-inflammatory and moisturising, ideal too for hydrating the skin.
Gum resins (frankincense and myrrh) are substances that trees secrete when they suffer a wound, so as to heal it quickly and prevent germs or parasites from invading.
Just as these substances act on trees, so they act on our skin, leaving a sense of sealing and deep regeneration.
The three essential oils in this elixir accompany each of the gifts: EVERLASTING FLOWER (plant gold), FRANKINCENSE and MYRRH. Its aroma is subtle and whispering, calming, with middle and base notes.

- Oil macerate of calendula flower, frankincense and myrrh in biodynamic extra virgin olive oil and organic sunflower seed oil.
- Iris root tincture (sp. Iris germanica).
- Essential oils of everlasting flower (sp. Helichrysum stoechas), frankincense (sp. Boswellia carteri) and myrrh (sp. Commiphora myrrha).
*Ingredients from certified organic farming, or uncertified but from known sources that respect our environment. *All the botanicals have been gathered by hand in the Liébana Valley, with respect and gratitude, following the biodynamic lunar calendar.
- On a clean face, apply 5 drops directly to the skin (two on the forehead, one on each cheekbone and one on the chin).
- Rub your hands together to warm them and, with your fingertips, press gently over the whole face until you feel the product has penetrated.
- The warmth of your hands helps carry the product into the inner layers of the skin, and the pressure encourages circulation and therefore improves absorption.
- This serum can be used before applying your cream.
